Château Les Croisille Le Croizillon 2022

The antithesis of big Argentinian Malbecs, this is a fresh fruit bomb of a wine. Early harvested, and with a short maceration on the skins, this is matured in stainless steel and concrete tanks. A long long way from the "black wine of Cahors" of old and a long way from some overly extracted South American examples, this wine is what the French would call "tres digeste" ( says it all ). A wine where the first glass doesn't knock you out and instead leaves you wanting more of its red berry fruit and herby flavours.
