Between us we have several decades of experience in the wine industry, as well as in hospitality and the food business. We have been importing organic, biodynamic and low-intervention wine for years, supplying restaurants and retail customers all over the UK, as well as owning wine shops, restaurants and specialist delicatessens.


Quite simply I love wine. I passed my Diploma in 1995, and was accepted on the Master of Wine programme, the gold standard in our world...a lot has changed since then. After years of importing and selling “conventional” wine I had a lightbulb moment in famous Paris natural wine bar Le Verre Volé – drinking a bottle of fabulous Burgundy made without the use of chemicals. Everything changed. I have been committed to low intervention winemaking and organics ever since, and the role they play in improving our environment. When my nose is not in a wine glass I can mostly be found up a mountain or on a cliff face, or trying to coax my young son to sleep…


The wine, the places, the food and the people. Hospitality was the start for me. Over the past 20 years, alongside playing records in nightclubs, I’ve worked almost all of the jobs you can with a bottle or a plate in your hand. Visiting a vineyard, meeting the winemaker, tasting something new and then bringing that wine back home is amazing, I love it!
