The majority of the blend here is the Touriga Nacional and Baga, both of which are picked the same day and gently pressed together, to avoid excessive extraction of colour or tannin. The Vinhao is picked separately and then foot trodden in the traditional way, The result is a light, natural red, full of summer fruits and lively acidity keeping everything together.
