Exceptional expression of Viura from Navarra, from a single plot of around an acre. Only 2987 bottles made! Aged on the fine lees in a mixture of stainless steel and old French oak barrels, the wine has a core of apple and citrus, with herbal elements and a wonderful minerality. Jon and Pedro do everything they can to coax the very best out of their non-irrigated old bush vines, and are making some of the most noteworthy wines in northern Spain.

For reference think Burgundy rather than white Rioja - the oak is a seasoning here, none if it new, and the wine is a breath of fresh air. Something to savour.
