Finca el Molar Bobal 2020

Bobal’s name derives from the Latin bovale, in reference to the shape of a bull’s head (a slightly tenuous reference to the shape of the grape clusters). Traditionally used for bulk wine Bobal performs much better at altitude such as in Manchuela where it gives toothsome, fruity reds with lovely acidity – this being one of them! Fermentation and ageing in stainless steel on the fine lees results in a light to medium bodied wine with beautiful red fruit and fresh tannins.
