Domaine Duseigneur Sakura 2022

In Japanese Sakura is used specifically to refer to the flower that grows on flowering cherry trees. They are a symbol of evolution, moving forward, and Bernard chose this name to reflect the evolution of his estate towards a no SO2 ethos. The wine is 100% Syrah from young vines on alluvial soils, with vinification in whole clusters and a short maceration to minimise tannins and maximise freshness. It is aged in stainless steel and is a perky wine which dances on your palate.
