    As the Diwalds say, "we wanted to produce a serious rosé wine, not sugar water". This is partly made by the saignée method, with free run juice from a red wine fermentation, and partly through the pressing of red wine grapes from cooler sites. Predominantly Zweigelt, there is also a touch of Pinot Noir in the blend and the two work well together here - lovely cherry fruit from the Zweigelt, while the Pinot adds extra complexity and backbone. Crisp, taut, with superb tangy acidity and relatively low alcohol. Cracking wine.
