Pepe - Jose Antonio Canada Gill to give his full name! - has some wonderful vineyards high above the Minho River in northern Galicia on the border with Portugal. His Albariño is fermented and aged in stainless steel and this is as fine an Albariño as you could hope to drink, with all the trademark citrus and peach/apricot characters of the grape along with beautiful acidity and freshness.
