An exceptional cuvée of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc from some of the estate's best plots in Saulheim. There is more than a nod to fine Burgundy here ( and if you like fine Burgundy you will love this ) - ageing in 500 litre barrels on the lees for around 10 months, batonnage ( stirring up of the lees ) , and 30% new oak. This is a complex wine, with layers of and layers of flavour. A touch of ripe tropical fruit, great balance, fresh acidity and most of all an incredible mineral structure that makes you stop, take notice, and simply savour every mouthful. The finish goes on and on and the wine gives immense pleasure.
