Vincent’s domaine is situated in Monnières, in the heart of Muscadet, and he is the fifth generation of his family to look after this land. He took over back in 1986, moved to organics in 1996 achieving certification in 2007, and finally received biodynamic certification in 2012. You will not meet anyone more passionate about the benefits of biodynamic and organic farming than Vincent – he truly loves and respects the land it has been his lot to look after for the next generation. He is the epitome of the vigneron, determined as he says to play his part, to do the right thing in the face of a fast-changing world.

There are many different soil types on the farm and Vincent has been at the forefront of the new wave of Muscadet producers over the last couple of decades. He produces many age-worthy, complex wines that demand time in bottle and thought when in the glass, favouring slow ferments and long periods ageing in the winery on the lees. His wines are in demand all over the world and there is of course a finite supply… but we are lucky to receive allocations of all his wines so expect to see a changing selection as availability allows!
