Vitivinicola Fangareggi
The Fangareggi family has been growing Lambrusco grapes since the 1800s, but this estate was founded by Giuseppe in 2005 to bottle their own grapes and take the family in a new direction. Today Giuseppe and his brother Roberto look after the vineyards, with the help of Giuseppe’s wife Margherita and their son Matteo who looks after the winemaking. They have vines spread across 8 parcels in the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena and the process of organic certification has started. Only indigenous yeasts are used for the primary fermentation and these are no ordinary Lambruscos! The family strives for as minimal environmental impact as possible and produces a range of super gastronomic wines from their wonderful verdant vineyards.
