Domaine Bonnet-Huteau Orange 2023

Made from a selection of grapes from 15 year old Pinot Gris vines, this skin contact wine has a beautiful colour somewhere between strawberry and orange. On the nose there is much going on - spice, raspberry, cherry, notes of citrus peel, while the palate is ample and round with great texture, lovely red fruit, perhaps some apricot, and a pleasing gentle tannic bite followed by a long, persistent finish. Gorgeous stuff which will convert even the most ardent orange wine avoider! Vinified and aged in a mixture of concrete tank and ovoid vats.
